Joshua Lizardi
Founder & Lead Mathematics Coach
Joshua founded Northstar to create a more personal, structured way for students to learn mathematics online.
He holds an M.S. in Applied Mathematics, an M.S. in Data Analytics, a B.S. in Mathematics, and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics — and has 9+ years of experience teaching mathematics, including college and graduate-level instruction.
His teaching experience spans middle school through advanced and college mathematics, alongside curriculum development, educational technology, and remote education.
Expect clear explanations, purposeful practice, and direct communication with families about how your student is progressing.
